About the Role

Culture Amp is hiring for a seasoned Senior Director, Organizational Development based in North America or Australia to lead our Camper (that’s what we call our employees!) People Science team. The Senior Director, Organizational Development will guide our Customer Zero practices through science and innovation to experiment with and define next-in-class practices that boost our employee’s engagement and performance and inspire the world.

This role must be based out of our San Francisco office in the US, or our Melbourne or Sydney offices in Australia.

You will:

  • Own all of the internal People practices that the Culture Amp product touches as Customer Zero, including engagement, performance, development, career enablement, and people analytics
  • Develop a strategy, in close partnership with our People Science experts around the business, that helps Culture Amp achieve success through the power of our people 
  • Evolve the structure and develop the team to bring this strategy to life
  • Build an incredible brand for our people practices, both internally and externally, and be a sought after thought partner by internal business, product, and marketing leaders
  • Lead the team to develop strong strategic relationships and consulting skills so that they can be trusted partners in designing local OD interventions

 

You have:

  • Proven experience (10+ years) leading organizational development, preferably in global organizations
  • Advanced degree in a people science: organizational development, I/O psychology, human resources, or a related field
  • Strong expertise in change management, organizational design, talent management, and culture transformation
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing beloved organization-wide development programs that drive business results
  • A brand as a thought partner who is sought after by business managers and leaders to add value
  • An aptitude and reputation for being agile and innovative
  • A love for debating and collaborating with passionate, brilliant people who care deeply about your work
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • A proven track record as an excellent people leader who is a magnet for talent and a role model for engaging and developing their people

For this role, the estimated base salary range is listed below. The range is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual skills, capabilities and experience, objectively assessed during the interview process. 

In addition to base salary, your compensation package will include additional components such as equity and benefits. For sales roles, your package may also include sales commission.
