Senior Editor, Eater

Vollzeit
vor 7 Monate

The senior editor will work across Eater.com, telling compelling stories about how food and drink intersect with culture at large, with a focus on restaurants. Eater’s approach to restaurant coverage embraces a broad definition of “restaurant” and “chef”; it’s familiar with kitchen culture and honest about its shortcomings; it’s inspired by the convivial and fun spirit of dining out. The senior editor will also work across other beats, assigning and editing stories as needed.

The candidate will have a stable of writers, designers, photographers, and illustrators. The candidate must have strong editing and writing skills and a high level of comfort in balancing long-term responsibilities with daily digital tasks. Working knowledge of the restaurant industry as well as experience covering restaurants is a plus. The candidate should also feel comfortable representing Eater at restaurant industry events and meetings.
