The mission of the People Agile Team (PAT) is to increase visibility & collaboration within People & Places by empowering stakeholders to act proactively and drive efficiencies to achieve their goals. We aim to be the driving force behind critical people team projects and establish ourselves as a project management center of excellence.
In this position, you will manage simultaneous People/Human Resources projects through project plans, oversight of work, status reports and cross-team collaboration. You will be responsible for looking across People functions, building trusted relationships with various stakeholders and ensuring milestones are reached successfully. You will also partner closely with fellow People Agile Team members to iterate on our ways of working and recommend improvements to our processes and delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain working relationships with People & Places stakeholders
- Lead the scoping and delivery of simultaneous, complex projects in a high-growth, ambiguous environment for the People & Places organization
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into project plans with clearly defined timelines, deliverables, stakeholders, key measures of success and roles and responsibilities
- Bring organization and structure to projects to drive effective collaboration and execution for project teams
- Utilize change management methodologies to develop change activities & communication plans
- Become familiar with the details of a project while partnering closely with subject matter experts
- Motivate and influence project teams using a consultative and collaborative style that showcases your ability to coach, lead and inspire project teams
- Facilitate effective decision making and provide thought leadership to your stakeholders
- Proactively identify, assess, and escalate risks to stakeholder groups while working with project teams to mitigate
- Create and manage project tools, documentation, and communication channels
- Develop and refine project management tools & enablement for the People & Places organization
- Collaborate with the People Agile Team to continually improve processes and delivery
Job Qualifications & Skills
- 6+ years of Project Management experience across a variety of project types
- PMP (or equivalent) and change management certifications are preferred
- 6+ years experience within HR, Recruiting, Learning & Development and/or People Operations
- Experience with online collaboration and remote work in a high-growth environment
- Proven success leading large-scale, complex People/HR projects
- Proficient in project management tools and software, including Smartsheet and Google Suite
- Experience driving change management efforts within projects
- Proven success using critical thinking skills to identify and address complex problems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate expectations and foster open communication
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence others at various levels of the organization without formal authority
- Ability to work independently while also coordinating priorities for teammates & stakeholders

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$122,000—$165,000 USD The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $135,000—$182,000 USDWhat you can look forward to as an Okta employee!
