We’re looking for a highly motivated Senior Partner Manager with a background in developing new go-to-market capabilities with Value-Added Reseller, Solution Integrator, Managed Service Provider, and Public Cloud Partners. This is a strategic new role, complemented by a series of recent major investments in Elastic’s NZ presence. 

The Partner Sales Manager’s responsibility is to develop and drive execution of revenue-focussed plans and initiatives across the New Zealand region. Key to the success in the position is effective collaboration with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, including sales, alliances, marketing, legal, and operations.

What You Will Be Doing:
  • End-to-end ownership of the NZ Ecosystem business: strategy to execution. Segment, recruit, develop, enable and grow Partnerships to support business goals, execute channel sales strategies, and drive consistent bookings growth.
  • Work closely with NZ Country Director and direct sales teams across all client segments to build pipeline, progress opportunities, book revenue and drive expansion through partners.
  • Primary responsibility to establish and grow a 100% “Partner-led” customer segment 
  • Executive Relationships. Growing trust and influence with Senior Leadership of our strategic GTM Partners. Develop joint strategies, commitments and execution plans, leveraging investments and programs to drive joint revenue. 
  • Sales Management. Work with Partners’ Sales Teams to take joint sales plays, programs and industry solutions to market, with disciplined internal and external business cadence to guide coverage, identify opportunity, drive consistent sales execution and results.
  • Market Development. Build and execute focussed Pipeline Generation activities to and through partners to grow top-of-funnel.
  • Educate. Support and grow Partner’s capabilities to articulate Elastic value propositions, and create complementary value-added partner services and offerings to help customers realise value
  • Actively contribute and have fun! Be a part of Elastic’s vibrant culture and Source Code, with constant internal collaboration with great people across functions.

 

What You Will Bring:
  • Energetic, organised, self-directed, and interdisciplinary approach
  • 7+ years in Partner Sales Management roles and 10+ years of Software Sales roles. Preferred experience in SaaS, Data, Search, Security and/or Open Source-based solution markets
  • Entrepreneurial instincts - ability to build channel relationships and networks from the ground up, with lines of engagement across multiple partner/client personas: senior leadership, sales, architects, practice managers and technical consultants.
  • Operational Excellence - ability to use data, systems and processes effectively to plan, execute and measure performance and initiatives. Demonstrated operational cadence, shared language and a disciplined approach to pipeline generation and sales process
  • Executive presence; excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships
  • Demonstrated track record of personal results in pipeline growth, bookings growth and sourced business through Partners.
  • Willing to travel (up to 30%)
  • High energy, great attitude, collaborative approach, and a learning mindset
  • Bachelor's degree, Masters or MBA is a plus!
