A Senior QA reports to a QA Lead. Works closely with QA lead, QA Subject Matter Experts, other QA members, project managers, designers, and developers to ensure QA standards and client satisfaction are delivered thought-out the account. A Senior QA brings analytical thinking and support to the team, and QA leads many tasks.

You will: 

  • Analyze, test, document and recommend Automation tools for different projects
  • Guide, coach and teach other team members regarding the Automation process
  • Evaluate improvements to update current Automation framework
  • Be responsible for performing any of the QA tasks with barely any guidance
  • Plan, conduct and technically direct projects or major phases of significant projects
  • Be responsible for analyzing and understand requirements, and design specifications to ensure a quality process
  • Be responsible to attend, leading, and organizing meetings on behalf of the team
  • Be responsible for promoting and evaluating QA values and principles for the QA, everyone in the company, and our clients.
  • Support QA lead to work and motivate other team members in a team-oriented and collaborative environment with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Be responsible for communicating test results, issues, and risks to project team members, project managers, and QA management through the different channels
  • Be responsible for promoting effective communication, participation, and involvement amongst QA members.
  • Be responsible for test data identification
  • Create and maintaining comprehensive test plans
  • Write and maintaining test cases/scripts following high-quality standards
  • Create traceability matrix documents based on project requirements
  • Create checklist documentation based on project requirements
  • Perform functional and non-functional testing
  • Effectively communicate statuses

You have: 

  • Advanced English Proficiency (B2+/C1, reading, writing, and conversation).
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance – Automation.
  • 1+ years of experience in Agile Methodologies for Software development.
  • 3+ years of experience working with local and offshore teams.
  • Experience in Automation Testing specifically with Selenium with Java + Junit + Cucumber (Base Framework).
  • Preferably knowledge in tools like RestAssured (Services), Appium (Mobile) and Applitools (Visual Testing)
  • Experience in Automation Execution.
  • Preferably knowledge in tools like Selenium Grid (UI Testing – Hosted Pool), Sauce Labs (UI Testing – Managed Pool and Native Mobile)
  • Experience in Continuous Testing (CI/CD), preferably with Tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions / Workflow.
