We’re looking for a contract sourcer to help us bring the best and brightest to Pinterest.  Since the inception of Pinterest, recruiting has been a priority and a partnership based organization. Our strength lies in strategizing with internal leaders to build and scale teams across Pinterest and hiring individuals who collectively make up our unique and inspiring culture. You'll use tools, data and creativity to create targeted recruiting strategies and build a strong network of experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will have proven experience sourcing, recruiting and partnering with business stakeholders to hire top talent  You'll be an internal and external representative of our values and innovative culture.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand requirements of the role, the function and how it fits into the organization
  • Work with coordinators and recruiters to manage an efficient model of operation
  • Develop strategies to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns
  • Find, engage and activate passive candidates through the use of Boolean, LinkedIn and alternative search techniques and execute pipeline to fill roles
  • Screen resumes and interview candidates to determine basic qualifications
  • Regularly track pipeline activity to share with internal stakeholders
  • Recommend and drive improvements that impact local pipeline areas
  • Build and share knowledge of skills, target companies, conferences, and open source communities with recruiters and hiring managers
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with top talent in the industry
  • Innovate and drive diversity sourcing strategies 
  • Utilizes data for reporting and influencing hiring decisions, while maintaining data integrity

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years of sourcing experience gained with a search firm or in-house recruiting team
  • Experience sourcing talent for the APAC market
  • Experience working with and building sourcing strategies with hiring managers
  • Experience developing and executing candidate generation and research techniques
  • Experience screening resumes to match qualifications
  • Experience approaching passive candidates
  • Specialized knowledge of core recruiting technologies, and major applicant tracking systems
  • Ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships with candidates
  • Ability to rigorously prioritize and multitask as well as excitement to roll up your sleeves and contribute to all parts of the recruiting process
  • Independent, detail oriented, creative and self driven

 

Please note this is a 6 month fixed term contract position.
