TAKE-TWO DIRECT TO CONSUMER 

The Direct to Consumer team is within Take-Two and has built a commerce and distribution platform for our game labels, partnering directly with our studios to bring value company-wide.  We have offices in San Francisco and Vancouver and our team is small and agile – we release to our users quickly, and constantly iterate to elevate our product’s quality. We seek regular feedback from our users and labels to make sure we are delivering at and above expectations. We believe in giving our studios the flexibility they need to create the world's greatest games, so we plan to offer a variety of interfaces using modern technology and standard methodologies. Our success is measured by our impact on gamers and developers, not presentations or promises.

  

The Challenge 

We’re looking for a Senior Web Analyst to ensure the most relevant possible real-time and historical data is identified, tracked, analyzed and made actionable across our products, features, and web environments.  In this role, you will collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, Game Teams, Marketers and Data Analysts as we move through the stages of bringing a concept to a product launch. Using customer feedback, research, and data you’ll continue to improve the products you ship and delight our customers.

  

What You’ll Take On 
  • Collaborate with our partners to define and document measurement specifications and tracking requirements.  
  • Own relationships and communications with stakeholders to identify needs and translate those needs into actionable data analyses.  
  • Standardize and maintain analytics tracking; architect scalable tracking infrastructure. 
  • Implement tracking across various sites and environments, utilizing custom JavaScript where necessary.  
  • Test and validate web analytics data; work directly with technical teams to identify data issues and solutions. 
  • Build reporting and dashboards for valued metrics, centralizing various data sources.  
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses to answer business questions, drive insights, and enable business decisions. 
  • Create well organized reports and presentations. Engage in storytelling to convey insights and trends with the presented data.
  • Utilize web analytics data in conjunction with other data sources to deliver deep insights into customer behavior and business performance.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of new features, applications, and areas of our web properties.
  • Stay up to date on measurement technologies and industry trends. Proactively involve partners in pertinent changes and how they may impact analytics.
  • Level up stakeholders to self-serve web analytics tools so that they can answer basic analytics questions on their own.  
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve processes and drive these initiatives. 

 

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operational Research, Business Intelligence, or any other relevant field).
  • 6+ years of experience in web data analysis.
  • Extensive experience with one of the following or experienced with both:
    • Object-oriented programming and web development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, HTTP requests, etc.)
    • Database querying (SQL) and business intelligence tools (Google Data Studio, Tableau, etc.)
  • Extensive experience with Universal Analytics – or equivalent web analytics tool – and knowledge of Google Analytics 4. 
  • Expertise with Google Tag Manager or equivalent tag management system.  
  • Expertise with website data architecture, analyses, and user flow optimizations; E-commerce experience is a plus. 
  • Great presentation and data communication skills. 
  • Self-driven, with a strong sense of project ownership. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and investigation skills. 
  • Operationally organized; project and initiative driven. 
  • Documentation and technical writing skills. 
  • Commitment to data excellence and scalability. 
  • Creative with and knowledgeable of data.
  • Ability to reconcile technical and business perspectives.

The pay range for this position in British Columbia, Canada at the start of employment is expected to be between 87,800 and 130,000 CAD per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
