We’re looking for a Technology Talent Sourcer who can partner with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to develop strategies to find candidates for our technology teams in the APAC region. You will be working to find creative ways of surfacing top talent and activating passive candidates through a highly engaged approach.
We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Gurugram for our hybrid working model.
Shift Timings: 2:00 PM-10:00 PM (Cabs will be provided) Work Location: Gurgaon Job DescriptionAs a Sourcing Specialist reporting to the Talent Sourcing Manager, your role involves developing, driving, and executing sourcing strategies while pre-qualifying candidates for MongoDB's tech teams
Job responsibilities:- Driving hiring for niche functions, including product and engineering, to support rapid business growth and meet hiring targets
- Partnering with recruiters in APAC to understand current and future hiring plans, becoming their trusted partner to develop and execute strategies for converting passive talent into a strategic talent pipeline for MongoDB
- Conducting phone screens and engaging with candidates over the phone and email to qualify them before passing them on to hiring managers
- Screening inbound applications in our ATS and conducting passive sourcing to identify high-quality passive candidates
- Utilizing Boolean, LinkedIn, and alternative search techniques to find high-quality passive candidates
- Developing a strong understanding of the MongoDB tech stack and becoming familiar with the needs of all technical teams
- Conducting proactive research on hard-to-fill and niche roles
- Conducting in-depth talent research using LinkedIn Talent Insights or conducting competitive intelligence studies, preparing action plans, and presenting findings to stakeholders based on results
- Independently partnering in strategy calls with recruiters and hiring managers to maximize successful hiring outcomes
- Demonstrating an excellent analytical approach in problem-solving
- 3-6 years of tech sourcing or tech sourcing/recruiting experience in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment (In-house hiring experience preferred)
- Experience in conducting candidate phone screens and qualifying candidates is a must
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written both)
- Experience working on APAC roles, particularly in Australia and India
- Must have worked in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment driven by business priorities
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with hands-on LinkedIn Recruiter and Naukri is a must. Experience with other platforms like Github, Stackoverflow, Twitter, and Facebook is a plus
- Experience in using a CRM and ATS (applicant tracking system)
- Possess a cohesive team attitude and willingness to both receive and impart coaching
