SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.

SR. HUMAN SPACEFLIGHT SALES MANAGER (SOVEREIGN)

Expanding access to space travel for humans worldwide is a critical step in realizing our long-term plans of making life multiplanetary. While we hope to one day make space travel as attainable as a commercial airline flight, soaring on Dragon or Starship into space currently still requires significant coordination, planning, and financial resources. • Represent SpaceX in customer meetings and at strategic events.
  • Work multiple account generations in parallel.
  • Gather customer requirements and work with the product engineering team to iterate on and improve SpaceX product offerings.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or an engineering discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience networking/prospecting in one or more of the following channels: international governments or sovereign states.
  • Demonstrated government sales track record of pursuing and closing complex deals.
  • Passion for spaceflight and ability to compellingly communicate and share that vision with everyone: from the newly found space enthusiast to established industry leaders.
  • Ability to understand the product and service both technically and operationally.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Multilingual.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Available to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to support closing sales opportunities.
  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally, anticipated ~50%.
