The Challenge

As a Sr. Strategic Renewal Manager, your challenge is managing a portfolio of strategic customers (part of our Assigned CS strategy) and highly complex client renewals, processes, negotiation, and OneTrust Expertise. You'll be instrumental in proactively partnering with account executives and CS in identifying and mitigating roadblocks and ensuring successful, on-time execution of processes and contract renewals. Collaborate with Customer Success and Sales team colleagues (AEs) on account planning and provide seamless support during renewals, especially in cycles that present expansion or add-on opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders and partners/channel sales, ensure contract terms compliance, and work closely with finance and legal departments. Proactively collect and analyze customer feedback, contributing to the growth and automation of the auto-renewal and standard renewal processes.  

Your Mission
  • Strategic Mastery: Lead strategic software renewal processes with a strategic mindset, orchestrating renewal cycles that exemplify excellence within the strategic volume. 
  • Collaborative Excellence: Partner seamlessly with Customer Success, Sales, and Partners, crafting collaborative strategies that resonate with strategic software renewals in the strategic volume. 
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, becoming the strategic partner of renewal success within discerning strategic client organizations. 
  • Compliance Excellence: Navigate software contract intricacies with excellence, ensuring compliance is not just met but exceeded within the strategic volume while collaborating internally with stakeholders such as our legal team, Sales Ops, and others. 
  • Strategic Optimization: Identify and act upon opportunities for increased software platform utilization, turning each renewal into a strategic masterpiece within the strategic volume. 
  • Transactional Mastery: Manage transactional increases, identifying opportunities for software optimization within the strategic volume. 
  • Growth Leadership: Collaborate with Account Executives to identify and create growth opportunities within the discerning strategic volume. 
  • Churn Forecasting Mastery: Responsible for forecasting churn at the cohort level. 
  • Integrated Customer Success Journey: Acknowledge that the renewal process is the culmination of the customer success journey, usually initiated 120 days prior to expiration. 
  • Accurate Forecasting Leadership: Manage your portfolio through accurate weekly forecasting. 

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Team Coaching and Mentoring: Coach and mentor team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and development within the Renewals team. 
You Are

7+ years of customer-facing experience in software renewals. 

  • Strategic Expertise: Demonstrate a deep understanding of strategic account management and renewal optimization. 
  • Complex Collaboration: Showcase experience in collaborating on complex renewals with multiple stakeholders, creating a seamless experience for customers. 
  • Salesforce Proficiency: Expertise in utilizing Salesforce to drive strategic renewal initiatives and optimize the renewal process. 
  • Discerning Strategic Landscape Navigation: Proven ability to navigate and excel in the strategic software renewal landscape. 
  • Forecasting: Experience using forecasting tools such as Aviso or Clari. 

For California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington-based candidates: the annual base pay range for this role is listed below. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors, including location, job-related skills, work experience, and relevant education and/or training. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, as well as benefits.

Salary Range$137,250—$205,875 USDBenefits
