Responsible for building, developing enterprise, distributed payment applications that execute settlement within seconds to enable the Internet of Value. Prototype solutions for software problems and implement them for on premise and cloud deployments and use cases. Contribute, design, and develop of tools for automation, monitoring, and instrumentation to reduce operational friction and increase engineering efficiency. Work with wider engineering team on the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of core products. Be a technical subject matter expert, provide technical leadership and share your expertise with a growing team of engineers. Continuously raise our standard of engineering excellence by implementing and driving best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
Telecommuting permitted 50% or more but less than 100% per week within same geographic location as assigned office location.
40 hrs./week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 7 years (5 of which must be post-baccalaureate progressive) experience in software development on large scale distributed systems. Or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 5 years of experience of software development on large scale distributed systems.
Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience with Java.
Of the required experience must have 5 years of experience in both of the following (which may be gained concurrently):
- Building transactional systems (in payments, banking, and/or e-commerce domains).
- Agile development of distributed services.
Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience in 1 or a combination of the following:
- PostgreSQL
- MySQL
- Oracle
- MS SQL Server
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with all of the following:
- Github or similar version control system
- CI/CD
- Docker
- Kubernetes
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of technology leadership experience, including autonomous decision-making, and providing career and performance feedback to junior software professionals.

For positions that will be based in CA, the annual salary range for this position is below. Actual salaries may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position. This range does not include equity or additional compensation, such as bonuses or commissions. CA Annual Base Salary Range$241,500—$241,700 USDWHO WE ARE:
