Your primary collaborators will be the finance team and our founder & Co-CEO. You'll be responsible for all controlling and financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities, heavily focused on analytical work. Your daily business will involve

  • Be in charge for FP&A/controlling activities (e. g. financial reporting, yearly budgeting, mid-year budget updates, forecasting, scenario planning, long-term business planning, etc.) 
  • Be the main go-to person for all reporting related topics, including: 
  • Preparing monthly financial reporting 
  • Preparing monthly management reporting (including financial & operative KPI) 
  • Preparing monthly investor reporting 
  • Regularly interact with accounting & other teams to ensure reporting quality & consistency and increase cost awareness 
  • Continuously improving our existing processes & try to automate as much as possible (e. g. by introducing new software tools) 
  • Deep dive into our company wide business case and apply your thereby generated knowledge as a trusted business partner for other teams such as product, marketing, sales, etc.  
  • Work on various other topics within the finance area (e. g. introducing new software tools, process documentation, fundraising/corporate finance projects, etc.) 
 After 12 months, you should have achieved the following: 
  • You have implemented a tool for financial consolidation, reporting & planning (e. g. LucaNet) 
  • You have built a management reporting covering the main financial & operative KPI in a state-of-the-art reporting tool (e. g. Power BI) 
  • You are familiar with all controlling/FP&A processes and have already been able to automate and improve them 
  • You are deep into our company-wide business case and understand the key drivers of our business model 

Your profile

  • You have full-time work experience in relevant areas such as Finance, FP&A, Controlling, Investment Banking, etc. 
  • Experience within FP&A from a later stage (enterprise) software company would be a huge advantage 
  • You have a degree (bachelor or master) with a major in finance and best case with a quantitative focus 
  • You have a passion for data and numbers, and you have advanced knowledge in IT applications (e. g. Excel, BI tools such as Power BI/Tableau, best case VBA/SQL/etc.) 
  • You can build financial models from scratch 
  • You can execute tasks independently with a pragmatic approach and never give up until it works 
  • You can communicate your results and you know how important it is to prepare and communicate information in a concise way 
  • We expect that you bring the ability to acquire missing knowledge independently – of course we actively support you on this journey 
  • Fluent in German and English is mandatory
