The Role

Location: This position can be filled in any of our offices in Dublin, Munich, Amsterdam, London, as well as Berlin.We enable the rapid but sustainable growth of Personio and ensure the financial health, legal stability, and strategic direction-setting of the organization. We see ourselves as co-pilot of our business leaders and partner collaboratively with the entire organization, to enable data-driven decision-making by providing thoughtful analysis and insights. We are seeking a highly motivated Manager to join our FP&A team. The successful candidate will lead and oversee all aspects of financial planning and analysis for Workforce, IT, Finance, and Data activities within our organization. The ideal candidate possesses initial work experience, preferably in the SaaS or E-Commerce sector, and is a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual passionate about utilizing financial data to inform business strategies and decisions.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with business leaders from the Workforce, IT, Finance and Data teams to provide financial insights and recommendations to support key business decisions
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of relevant budgets and forecasts
  • Analyze actual vs. budgeted performance, identifying key drivers of variances
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and other financial metrics to monitor business performance
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, including financial statements, annual budgets, and monthly forecasts
  • Identify areas for process improvement within the FP&A function
  • Ensure close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders in order to enable business partnering and reporting

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in FP&A with a strong emphasis on business partnering is required

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Understanding of key business metrics in the SaaS industry

  • Proficiency in Google Sheets and financial modeling skills

  • Experience with Workday and Adaptive Planning is advantageous

  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English

  • Enjoyment to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Project management skills
