About the Role

We’re looking for a seasoned technical program manager who can work with us on a series of high priority complex technical projects and programs. This person would be responsible for planning, scoping, and executing on multiple engineering driven work streams across various departments and teams. This job involves managing multiple stakeholders and accommodating teams dispersed across multiple time zones. 

You will be reporting into the Engineering & ETI Program Management Office (PMO). 

Responsibilities

Your main role will be to partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, SalesOps, Pricing, and BI teams to plan, track, and manage the execution, testing, and approval of various Billing related deliverables.

Technical Program Management at Cloudflare provides you with a myriad of opportunities to effectively define, scope, and accomplish strategic goals. You will be the driving force to make things happen.

You will also be working with various parts of the organization to deliver Cloudflare services to customers around the globe. You will actively partner with various team members on quarterly planning, process improvements, dogfooding cutting edge features, running innovation weeks, and supporting exciting new developments and initiatives, with multiple senior leads to guide you. The ideal candidate is process driven but remains flexible and iterative, someone who loves to tackle new challenges, really enjoys bringing people together as a team, and driving them towards success. 

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in technical program management.
  • Collaborate with key decision makers to develop executive reporting materials (e.g., executive steer co, weekly updates, key artifacts, etc.).
  • Solid knowledge in technical program management and a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of QA/UAT test plans, scheduling, defect tracking, reporting, and overall governance best practices
  • Servant leader who has successfully gained authority with peers by demonstrating empathy, providing support and motivating others. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication, proven track record of effective communication at various levels including executive level.
  • Strong competency with project management tools (admin-level experience strongly preferred for Confluence, JIRA) and various development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Kaizen, Scrum, etc).
  • Proven track record on creating realistic project plans, and overseeing execution to meet commitments and deliver with predictability.
  • Comfortable managing tight deadlines, changing priorities, and ambiguity.
  • Role is based in Austin, SF, or Remote US, and you will be working with teams in various time zones.

Compensation

Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.

  • For Colorado-based hires and Washington hires: Estimated annual salary of $147,000 - $179,000
  • For New York City-based and California (excluding Bay Area): Estimated annual salary of $161,000 - $197,000
  • For Bay Area-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $168,000 - $206,000.
