✅The Role

We are seeking an experienced USA Benefits Specialist to join our Shared Services team in Mumbai. 

This role will be responsible for overseeing Benefits Administration and 401K for our US employees. ✅Responsibilities and Duties

Benefits Administration:

  • Manage end-to-end benefits administration for employees based in the USA.
  • Ensure accurate enrollment, termination, and changes to employee benefit plans.
  • Stay informed about current benefit trends, regulations, and compliance standards in the USA.

 

 

Compliance and Regulation:

  • Ensure compliance with US benefit laws and regulations, such as HIPAA, ERISA, and ACA.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to stay abreast of any changes in regulations.

 

 

Vendor Management:

  • Coordinate with benefits vendors to resolve issues and enhance service delivery.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with benefits providers to ensure cost-effective solutions.

 

 

Open Enrollment:

  • Plan and execute open enrollment activities, including communication strategies, materials development, and employee education.
  • Assist employees in making informed choices about their benefit options.

 

 

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze benefits data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports on benefits utilization and costs for management and clients.

 

 

Employee interfacing

  • Conduct benefits orientation sessions for employees
  • Act as point person for employee inquiries from general questions to more complex situations such as leave management
  • Act in partnership with HRBP and vendors to ensure a seamless and comfortable experience for employees.

✅Essential

  • Proven experience as a Benefits Specialist, with a strong experience in the US market.
  • In-depth knowledge of US employee benefits, laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and HRIS platforms.
