We are a small, mission-driven team that is building saving & investing products for millions of people. We want to work with people who are passionate about customers, and ready to get involved in an operations team at an early stage.

About the role:

As a Wealth Operations Specialist, you will be part of our small team that works across a number of areas of the Monzo back-office, including:

  • Delivering a great experience when customers choose to transfer a product (e.g. GIA, ISA & SIPP),
  • Working closely with third parties that Monzo integrates with to administer wealth products,
  • Performing daily reconciliations and identifying control improvements,
  • Ensuring compliance with Monzo policies and regulatory requirements,
  • Assisting with the production of documentation and data, and
  • Answering queries from Product, Engineering and Customer Service teams to support them in their work.

You will report to the Wealth Operations Lead, as well as the cross-functional team developing savings & investment products at Monzo.

We are looking for people who are naturally curious about the way things work, who have a bias to action, can communicate transparently, and are committed to investigating details that ensure we get the right results for customers.

You should apply if:

  • You have experience working in a regulated financial services firm,
  • You can demonstrate previous experience of securities & investment operations, which might include: dealing, custody operations, transfers, or product administration
  • You’re familiar with applicable FCA and HMRC rules, including CASS and ISA Regulations.
  • You’re able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment

The interview process:

Our interview process involves 4 main stages: 

  • Short call with a Monzo recruiter
  • 30 minute video-call with the Hiring Manager
  • Take Home Task
  • Interview Loop (2 x 45 minute interviews conducted over GoogleMeet)
