As we grow, so does the complexity of juggling all the people, events, food, and 3D printers - we need you to help us keep it running smoothly and keep our Formlings & guests happy! As the first point of contact for all guests, vendors and employees, you will ensure that everyone feels welcome from the first moment they step into our office. The Job
- Campus & Office Management
- Greet visitors and candidates, ensuring they feel welcome in our space
- Ticket & task management (through JIRA) - responding to employee requests & inquires as they arise
- Increasing employee self-service through knowledge-base management and development
- Daily in-office support - being flexible to assist with an ever-changing variety of business needs
- Ensure that Formlings have the supplies (and snacks) necessary to be successful in their roles
- Event Planning & Execution
- Plan, support and manage events both in-office in Somerville, as well as larger events in the Greater Boston area - including local customer events, Hackathon, Summer Camp, and more!
- Support People programs
- Assist with onboarding new hires, and being their guide in our physical space
- Partner with Recruiting for events related to talent branding in Somerville/Boston
- Flexibility to take on other projects as needed pertaining to office changes, upgrades, and new business needs
You
- Have a strong attention to detail, organization, and punctuality
- Self-motivator with strong organizational and intrapersonal skills
- Familiar with G-Suite products, MS Office (Excel fluency required) and comfortable learning new systems
- Excited to anticipate and help with the needs of visitors and provide superb service
- Passion for tackling issues in the moment and anticipating future needs
- Have a creative and outgoing nature, and a get-it-done mindset
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and comfortable walking between both offices as needed
- Self-motivated and resourceful, with the proven ability to multitask and operate successfully under tight deadlines and time pressures
- You're not afraid to tackle a challenge by yourself, but love collaboration and creative thinking
