Role: Account Executive (FTC - 12 months)

Location:Hybrid / x2 days per week in London, England

 

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Account Executive will join our EU Retail team, working in true collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to support a number of key processes. Working in the Projects Team, you will provide planning and administrative support to facilitate effective ways of working on upcoming projects and store openings.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Work along the store projects list to learn the effected stores and their timing. 
  • Follow the store opening process guide for store opening projects responsible for; ensuring full alignment with stakeholders as merchandising, visual merchandising, store development, markets and Global functions. 
  • Brief retail marketing functions, sitting in the markets on roles and responsibilities and the process for the store project in line with the RACI model. 
  • Follow the opening product allocation and the visual merchandising microplan to provide the store with the right mix of retail marketing tools in line with provided master orders. 
  • Check floorplans, furniture and VM orders to make sure that the latest store concept features, future marketing campaigns are fully executable in windows, launch zones and category areas. 
  • Onboard the new store and its details to all European systems and processes for any future campaign executions. 
  • Create and flawlessly manage the ISC and window order, production and delivery. 
  • Collect all information on activations 3 weeks prior to the target opening date from the local team. 
  • Train the local team on the new store concept that they're ready to operate from a marketing perspective, campaigns start on time and the snagging list is followed up on.

Cluster Retail Marketing, Europe Omni-channel VM, Europe DTC merchandising, Field Teams (Retail Director, DMs, VM, Operations, etc.), Europe Business Unit Comms Teams, Europe Omni-channel Team, Global Omni-channel Market Activation, Agencies and Vendors, Global VM&ISC, Global Business Unit Retail Marketing Teams, Store Development

  • Articulate, engaged and confident in communicating with senior clients

Knowledge, Key Skills and Abilities:  

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) 
  • Fluent in English  
  • Additional languages beneficial (German, Spanish, French, or other European languages) 
  • Good communication skills  
  • Good organisational skills 
  • Service oriented 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:  

  • University degree in business, ideally with marketing and sales focus or equivalent professional experience. 
  • 1-3 years Retail or Marketing experience (minimum 1 year Retail experience is essential) 
  • Experience and or knowledge of Visual Merchandising would be highly advantageous
