Account Manager - Medium Business (d/f/m)

As an Account Manager at Personio, you will play a pivotal role in helping our customers to unlock the power of their people. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and grow a portfolio of existing customers through strategic account management by acting like the Quarterback for Personio’s medium-business account base.You are a trusted advisor who leads the design and execution of the customer’s commercial strategy and negotiation ensuring every deal is beneficial for Personio.
Role Responsibilities: What you'll doStrategic Account Management: Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders within your book of business (250-300 medium-size customers) to understand growth drivers, identify opportunities for growth, manage risks, and build multi-quarter plans for achievement.
Retention Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to prevent churn and reduce downsells. Identify at-risk accounts and develop tailored action plans to retain them.
Revenue Growth: Drive and realize opportunities for up-selling Personio’s plans and apps to increase Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR).
Commercial Leadership: Lead the design and execution of the customer’s commercial strategy and contract negotiation. Manage customers through the renewal process.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions with the support of our Customer Success Teams.
Reporting: Track and report on key performance metrics and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Customer-facing Experience: You have 1-2+ years in Account Management, CSM, Sales or Growth roles within the SaaS industry or related areas. You are a strong communicator and enjoy negotiating in the best interest of Personio.
Customer Love: You have the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse customer profiles and you are passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Cross-Functional Coordination: You are a team player and like to work at the interface of various internal teams such as Solutions Sales, Payroll, Product, Legal and Finance.
Winning Mentality: You are self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong focus on achieving ambitious targets.
Adaptability: You thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments and enjoy problem-solving. You see change as a catalyst for progress.
Language Proficiency: Business proficient in German and fluent in English, both written and spoken.
