We are now looking for an Accountant who is willing to handle a wide range of financial tasks and is enthusiastic about learning the ins and outs of our finance department. Join our team to broaden your expertise and make a meaningful impact on our financial operations.

Within the Accounting team we’re currently 10 people which includes a Head of Accounting, Financial Assistants, Payroll. You will be working from our HQ in Stockholm, at Grev Turegatan 11A, with work from home opportunities.

Your challenge

We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. Some parts of financial controlling will also be a part of the role.

In your everyday work, you will:

• Posting of bank transactions and reviewing employee expenses.

• Be in contact with suppliers and people in the organization, both verbally and through email.

• Be responsible for accounting orders in the affiliated companies and holdings.

• Support the finance team and the external accounting firm in the monthly closing process.

• Work with other administrative tasks, commonly occurring within the accounts payable and account receivables function.

You will collaborate cross-organizational and have a close working relationship with the Head of Accounting. You will actively contribute to the process development and the use of our business systems, and get the chance to develop our general processes and routines. As the organization grows there are also, for the right person, opportunities to develop and grow internally within the finance department.

Who you are

To succeed in the role as Accountant, you must have following qualifications:

• 2-3 years relevant experience in the field of accounting, auditing.

• Great knowledge in excel and/or Google sheets

• University degree within Business Administration, or equivalent

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

Big bonus points if you have previous experience of:

• High growth startup or scale-up environment

• Working within a SaaS-company
