This is an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager (Senior Revenue Manager) to not only lead a team of 7, but to work and collaborate with other teams across the globe. As an Accounting Manager, some of your responsibilities include Sales Tax, Financial Reporting, Annual Budgets, and our Annual Financial Audit.   

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Responsible for Americas Revenue Accounting such as deferred revenue recognition, custom project margins and related balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Ensure US Billing is timely and accurate, entailing assessing various payment terms eligibility and applicability of sales tax, to clients of subscription services and custom projects
  • Manage Sales Tax Compliance including timely remittance and reporting of tax collections, owning the software vendor relationship and being the main point of contact for state revenue agency audits
  • Ensure timely Collection Standards are met; improve upon existing documented procedures and collection aging reports that give management meaningful information to make decisions
  • Ownership of US Revenue Close processes for month and year-end
  • Prepare month end package, including Financial Statements for 5 entities, AR & AP Analysis, Monthly & YTD variances report with commentary
  • Ownership of building the Americas Revenue and Margin Budgets for the Annual Americas Budget, which includes year over year analysis and metrics during the draft stages, as well as, target setting with Commercial Directors
  • Maintain a strong system of Internal Control processes and procedures
  • Be a process change advocate, encouraging the team to identify inefficiencies and implement agreed improvements
  • Be a key player in the upcoming ERP planning and implementation
  • Participate in Annual Financial Audit process with external auditors for all things revenue
  • Perform ad hoc reports, analysis and special projects; collaborate with your coworkers in EMEA and APAC as needed

  • Highly Accredited: You have a BS in Accounting or Finance with at least 5 years of experience in a corporate accounting setting. CPA preferred.
  • Great Communicators: You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Leaders: You have managed teams of accounting, payroll, and AP staff members.
  • Tech Savvy: You have advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel, leveraging functions including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs, and experience with Great Plaines or similar accounting software.
  • Adaptable: You have the ability to adapt to changing business needs and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive: You have a drive to seek out process enhancements and new business initiatives.
  • Detail Oriented: You have a high attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
