How you can help make a better world of work

As part of this team of amazing humans, you will lead a varied and sometimes complex Accounts Payable department ensuring accurate and on time fortnightly supplier payment runs, maintenance of supplier details and records, handling internal and external AP enquiries and assisting with relevant month end processes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to manage transactional banking relationships, the company’s banking platforms and credit card administration. You will also contribute to the company’s strategic vision with your involvement in cash flow forecasting and cash monitoring. 

You will 

  • Manage workflow of high volume enquiries, invoice processing, reimbursements both internal and external stakeholders 
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure payments are made efficiently and accurately
  • Lead and manage a small Accounts Payable team and the division of work
  • Be the main point of contact for complex Accounts Payable queries 
  • Continuously review & document Accounts Payable processes to identify and implement improvements for better accuracy, timeliness, control, and governance
  • Be confident and have good working knowledge of banking platforms including uploading of all payments
  • Manage the primary transactional banking relationships, including issuance, renewal, and cancellation of corporate cards    
  • Work closely with the Director Finance Operations on AP cash forecasting and monitoring cash balances on hand
  • Support the wider Finance team with audits and other compliance activities relating to Accounts Payable and Treasury management  

You have 

  • Experience working in a varied and sometimes complex Accounts Payable department where you uploaded all supplier payments to bank 
  • A high degree of attention to detail, time management and organisational skills
  • Experience leading a small to medium sized Accounts Payable team
  • Good working knowledge of a large ERP (NetSuite an advantage)
  • Documented Accounts Payable processes and identified and implemented process  improvements
  • Experience forecasting and reporting on cash flow forecast and explanation of variances
