Agency Development Director - SEA

The Agency Development Director - SEA, working in the Agency Team, paves the path for Taboola’s sales and partnership efforts with agency holding companies and large independent media agencies in Singapore, Thailand and other SEA markets. This person will uncover & develop sales opportunities, as well as lead & sign partnerships with holding companies, large independent agencies and/or their subsidiaries. In this role, they will collaborate with and be heavily supported by our Sales, Account Management, Product, Finance, and Legal teams.
What skills and qualifications are desired for this person:
- 5+ years of experience working within or alongside holding group agencies.
- Positive reputation and relationships across senior leaders at agency holding groups. The successful candidate will hold strong agency relationships in Singapore.
- Vast knowledge of the SEA media industry landscape, with a digital specialisation.
- Proven track record of obtaining and closing high value sales opportunities.
- Outstanding persuasive communication and presentation skills, with strong ability to communicate complex solutions to a range of audiences.
- A win-win-win mindset of exceptional collaboration, positive engagement, and focus on success through high value partnership sales.
- Deep understanding of the tools used by agencies to trade digital campaigns: data, brand safety, brand lift, DSPs, measurement, targeting and more.
- This role requires regular travel across SEA to meet with agencies face to face.
- The successful candidate will be fluent in English.
What will this person be doing on a day-to-day basis?
As Agency Development Director, SEA, you will:
- Be the custodian of Taboola’s relationships and sales success with holding company and major independent agencies.
- Nurture and maintain positive, productive relationships with leaders of holding company and major independent agencies.
- Plan and execute partnership programs with holding company and major independent agencies to influence and motivate advertisers’ business strategies.
- Build programs to educate agency teams on Taboola’s solutions, and deliver these programs to inspire and motivate agency teams to include Taboola in their media plans.
- Discover and unlock new sales opportunities for Taboola’s Enterprise sales teams within holding company and major independent agencies.
- Support, coach, mentor and guide Taboola’s Enterprise sales teams’ toward their sales success within holding company and major independent agencies.
- Expertly collaborate across Taboola to communicate and inspire progress toward the needs of holding company and major independent agencies.
