At SumUp, we actively monitor and optimize digital touchpoints in order to enhance user experience, increase conversions, and ultimately drive business growth. This involves a dynamic and data-driven approach to improving online presence and marketing efforts.

To achieve multiple optimization initiatives which are simultaneously running, we seek an Analytics & Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist to work closely with our CRO & Analytics Lead and other cross-functional teams within the organization.

This role will be instrumental in strengthening SumUp’s data driven approach to experience optimization, leveraging conversion driven strategies, accelerating the CRO team’s pace and impact.

What you’ll do:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources, including website analytics tools, heatmaps, user surveys, A/B testing results. 
  • Map multiple user journeys driving to eshop or sales funnel, identifying frictions and conversion levers.
  • Shape impactful CRO strategies to address friction points and SumUp’s business goals.
  • Drive speedy execution of strategies’ roadmaps by collaborating efficiently with cross-functional teams.
  • Facilitate data visualization and data monitoring across channels, journeys and funnels.

You’ll be great for this role if:

  • You have 3+ years experience driving data marketing projects and analyses. 
  • You have a proven track record in creating and executing CRO strategies that have positively impacted business goals.
  • You perform data analysis with analytical and statistical rigor, deep-diving to understand not just "what" happened but "why".
  • You are able to translate complex analytics into insightful recommendations for action that are easily understood by less technical audiences.
  • Your knowledge of CRO methodology and experimentation tools is outstanding.
  • You are highly proficient in Google Analytics 4.
  • You have significant knowledge of Excel (pivot, v-lookup, charts).
  • Your knowledge of BI and reporting tools (e.g. Google Big Query, Looker studio, Tableau, etc.) is excellent.
  • You have a good understanding of UX & UI best practices.
  • You are eager to learn and curious to explore emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the field of data analytics and CRO.

Nice to have:

  • Consulting experience appreciated
  • Previous experience within SAAS industry is considered a plus 
  • Knowledge of both e-commerce and lead generation funnels
  • Basic understanding of SQL, Python, R.
