ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Art Director will create powerful and impactful creative and design strategies for proactive ideas, social media and 360 campaigns.  Our team navigates the complex the client's landscape. This means the Creative (Art Director) needs to make sure the creative direction is relevant for each market. This Creative (Art Director) presents concepts to the clients on behalf of the Creative team. You can manage a job from the start to the finish. And don’t worry, the Associate Creative Director has your back and you will report to them directly.  

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Produce original creative concepts for social media, advertising and other media.
  • Approach briefs with a strategic view, ensuring that all concepts and art direction are strategically delivering on the objectives in a brief and full rationale is expressed for the positioning and execution of all creative.
  • A good understanding of typography, space and layout as well as text formatting
  • Work closely with the design team reviewing and providing feedback on design work to ensure it meets quality standards, aligns with design strategies, and effectively communicates the desired message.
  • Work alongside on-site and in-house teams to explore ways to open new opportunities and to help our brands understand and develop their creative presence through content
  • Brainstorm visual and copy ideas with other members of the team.
  • Develop creative output that is on-brand, innovative, challenging and attuned to the cultural interests of the markets.
  • Develop, maintain and evolve the art direction of the (sub)brands of the cllient
  • Generate engaging, customer focused content to add value to the customer’s experience
  • Pitch and present creative concepts, strategies, and campaigns to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. Effectively communicating the rationale and benefits of creative ideas confidently.
  • Deliver proactive ideas weekly to the Associate Creative Director.
  • Research and develop insights where required.
  • Understand the landscape and platforms across social media and its trends.
  • Engage our followers using social media trends, technology and design.
  • Execute on creative vision and direction across all briefs.
  • Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy, and quality in all creative aligning with brand guidelines, brand & product knowledge, tonality and target audience.
  • Interrogate briefs. Ask questions and liaise with Production/Account/Clients to get the necessary information.
  • Ensure all design and copy is fully aligned to develop cohesive and impactful creative campaigns driving success for clients.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge and skills through training, mentoring, presentations, attending workshops, and staying informed about advancements in the creative field.
  • Build relationships with clients at Market level – be a go-to for market clients for escalation.
  • Staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design, advertising, and marketing.
