The Sales Strategy and Operations team at Personio is a key strategic partner for our sales and partnerships leaders across strategy and analytics, operations and process and tools. Team members are innately curious and strive to always understand and better the status quo.

As a Business Analyst in the Sales Strategy & Operations team, you are a catalyst for growth, positioned at the crucial intersection of analytics, strategy, and results-driven execution. Your work will ensure that our decision-making is data-driven, goals are strategically set and tracked, and our future is predicted with a higher degree of accuracy.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Business Reviews and Insight Generation: Collaborate on data preparation for comprehensive business reviews, gaining expertise in extracting actionable insights for our Sales & Partnership team. This includes contributing to data aggregation for quarterly sales reviews, evaluating essential performance metrics, and conducting in-depth analyses of specific areas and topics.

  • Dashboard Maintenance & Report Creation: Assist in creating intuitive tableau dashboards in collaboration with our Data team and take over maintenance of existing dashboards. Own the creation of new Salesforce Dashboards and reports. 

  • Goal Setting and Tracking: Support tracking and reporting of KPIs and OKRs and conduct regular performance reviews. Take a key role in cross-functional data quality improvement initiatives by monitoring and communicating hygiene issues in our CRM.

  • Strategic Business Partnership: Build a foundational understanding of our different Sales & Partnerships functions and stakeholder roles, and start providing data insights. 

  • Forecasting and Planning: Support Senior Analysts in the preparation of data insights for weekly forecasting sessions and bi-annual planning cycles, contributing to the formulation of data-driven strategies.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • 2+ years of experience in a business analyst or sales operations role, preferable in high growth SAAS business

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on generating actionable insights in combination with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.

  • Outstanding Excel or Google Sheets skills.

  • Strong Expertise in SQL; Experience with BI/Visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBi is a plus

  • First experience working with Salesforce data and familiarity with core Sales tech stack leaders such as Gong, Groove etc. 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into easy-to-understand recommendations for stakeholders.

  • Independent; our team is spread across many cities and does so leveraging everyone’s ability to network and create relationships independently

  • Fluent in English
