YOUR MISSION

Glovo keeps growing day after day, that's why we are looking for an experienced and hands-on Associate Director, Global Labour Counsel that will work with HQ Legal Team and be the main PoC for our local teams, driving the whole legal strategy and being the legal referrence for all our entities. 

THE JOURNEY

  • Manage a local team of 8 people
  • Evaluate the risks associated with the business model and ensure appropriate procedures to mitigate them are implemented balancing business needs.
  • Assist the operations department in adapting the business model to local regulations.
  • Create and implement internal company policies in compliance with local labor regulations balancing business needs.
  • Leadership in the labour strategy of the Group.
  • Leadership in the definition in the Legal and People department of the labour relations strategy nationally and internationally.
  • Management of the relationship, agreements and negotiations with the different Works Councils of the company.
  • Compliance with all labour compliance (Equality Plan, Anti-harassment Protocol, etc).
  • Escalate critical matters to senior management
  • Get your hands dirty – when there is a problem, you will find a way to fix it

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • +10 years of working experience as in-house legal counsel or in a reputed law firm.
  • Law Bachelor Degree. Technical specialization in labour and employment law.
  • Problem solver by nature, always thinking outside of the box to find creative solutions to different problems.
  • Expertise in analysis and implementation of strategy balancing business needs.
  • Leadership and excellent people management skills. Proven ability to work in a multinational context.
  • Excellent stakeholder management. You will have multiple stakeholders inside and outside of the company.
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, high impactful scope, results-oriented, fast execution.
  • Excellent English speaking and professional Spanish fluency.
