As the Associate Director of Analytics for Virality, you will serve as a liaison between the analytics team and senior stakeholders, guiding and inspiring future viral growth opportunities. You will have the opportunity to lead the direction of the referrals domain across the HelloFresh Group by owning the work plan and managing the analysts allocated to execute it.

As a passionate analyst yourself, some of your time will be spent doing hands-on work. However, your primary mission is to ensure the technical excellence of the deliverables produced by you and your team.

• Be accountable for your team’s data catalog and delivery documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project objectives, utilizing project management skills to plan and execute data-driven projects.
• Partner widely across the Senior Data organization (Product, Engineering, Analysts) to set strategic priorities and promote a culture rooted in evidence-based decision-making.
• Communicate actionable insights clearly across the organization, highlighting the “so-whats” of your analyses to drive the growth of our business.
• Explore and analyze customer behavior and product performance data to detect growth opportunities for the HelloFresh referral program by improving user experience.
• Lead Data and Product Also Analysts within the team, defining best practices and providing support to help individuals and the team grow in technical knowledge and effectiveness.
• Review, as a technical expert, the implementations of multiple teams across domains, continuously improving the deliverables of your team.

• Extensive experience in quantitative analysis roles, ideally including at least 7 years of close collaboration with product teams.
• Excellent technical skills in applying expert-level SQL and Python for both analysis and efficient manipulation of large data sets.
• Expert-level knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, which we use to create compelling visualizations to convey complex data.
• Extensive experience working with product stakeholders in setting up A/B experiments, interpreting results, and deep diving to understand the impact of particular experiments.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to take complex business problems, articulate these as analytical problems, and present your findings clearly and precisely.
• Proven leadership in managing complex projects, building capability within your team, and providing mentorship or direct people management.
• Outcome-oriented mindset, able to take a business challenge, create actionable analytical insights, and align stakeholders on actions to create business value.
• Background as a Data Science is a big plus.
