Brief Overview of Position

Wayfair is looking for motivated individuals to join our sales/customer focus team who are passionate and  relentlessly focused on boosting sales, building personalized connections, and creating an environment that  invites and inspires our customers.

Essential Functions

  • Drive sales in store by building personalized connections with customers through thoughtful questions to understand their needs.
  • Provide an authentic, friendly customer experience that exemplifies our Wayfair commitment to relentless customer focus.
  • Become an expert of Wayfair products and services to help guide customers thru their questions & provide product options both in store and online thru our endless aisle and store application.
  • Demonstrate confidence in closing the sale and educating customers on various ways to purchase including through POS, Online, and our app.
  • Assist customers on the sales floor.
  • Collaborate effectively in all operational aspects of the store including but not limited to: processing new products, floor sets, replenishment, backfill substitutions, and general upkeep of the store.
  • Exemplify a positive and professional attitude on a daily basis with customers and team members.
  • Bring a willingness to share innovative ideas and solutions to continuously improve team operations.
  • Engage in a high energy, focused and dynamic work environment where there can be rapid changes in products, promotions, and operations.

Experience Qualifications

  • Less than 1 year -  Retail sales experience (Design related environment and specialty sales  experience a plus)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Skills and Abilities

  • Passion for great customer service and a drive to exceed sales targets.  (Medium proficiency)
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.  (Medium proficiency)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment, with the ability to adapt and grow.  (Medium proficiency)
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team sales environment.  (Medium proficiency)
  • Comfortable with technology including mobile applications, google tools, and portable devices. (Medium proficiency)
