About the teamYou'll be joining a small team of very experienced designers who are passionate about their craft, produce high-quality work, and are genuinely eager to share their knowledge and mentor you. We own Syncron's Design System and are focused on enabling our Product Designers to work efficiently. We believe in supporting each other's growth, value continuous learning, and are open to exploring new tools and methods to improve our work. We're based in Warsaw and Stockholm and collaborate closely.
About the roleJoin our Core Design team as an Associate UX Specialist. You'll play an important part in our work building and maintaining Syncron's Design System – the collection of design components and usage patterns that our Product Designers use to create consistent web applications.
You'll get to learn how a design system works from the inside, contributing to Figma components and helping with documentation. We’re looking for someone familiar with the concept of design systems and keen to gain hands-on experience in creating and maintaining one. If you're eager to learn about visual design for complex applications, this is a great place to start.
What would you do?- Contribute to the design and refinement of UI components in Figma.
- Assist in creating and maintaining documentation for our Design System.
- Support the Core Design team in evolving and advocating for the Design System.
- Collaborate with other designers and learn from their experience.
- Help ensure our design output meets user needs and brand standards.
- A genuine desire to learn and grow – this is key for us!
- A good skill-level in Figma.
- An interest in design systems and a willingness to learn how to build and maintain one.
- A basic understanding of accessibility principles.
- Good communication and collaboration skills; good English language skills are important.
- An eye for detail and a passion for visual design.
- Your portfolio should give us a sense of your design skills and process. If you have any experience with UI elements or an interest in design systems, please highlight it.
- Some understanding of Material Design.
- An interest in front-end development frameworks and how they affect design.
- While not required, a portfolio is highly appreciated as it offers insight into your design process—how you think, iterate, and solve problems.
