Databricks is looking for a motivated Automation & Data Analytics Engineer to join our Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy & Operations team. We help build Learning & Enablement strategy, provide strategic analyses, and drive a data-driven decision making approach to our successful & fast-growing Learning business.
You will lead full E2E service automations for all Operational processes, data analytics, reporting and dashboards to help operations to elevate the value and contribution, and also to serve our stakeholders and businesses to the expected level. You will support essential aspects of the annual training operations strategies and objectives, will own key pillars of the strategic framework for Operations such as Technology Optimization, Processes/Services optimization and automation, among others. You will help continue building a strong organization, improving processes, and understanding E2E services, establishing key dashboards and full reporting to oversee operations on a daily, monthly, quarterly and annually basis.You will drive key objectives such as productivity targets and hard savings expectations to contribute to revenue margins and operations cost.
The impact you will have:
- Contribute to build a strong E2E service organization based on automated processes, live dashboards and on-time visibility
- Establish a culture of continuous improvement, automations, how to observe challenges from different perspectives that will help elevate the value to the global businesses
- Assess all E2E technology stack used in all services from operations
- Evaluate all applications involved in the operations service delivery to determine compatibility with our vision and future state and/or assess new technologies
- Find key integrations opportunities among our application to make our E2E journey of our data and operations more efficient drives optimizations and automations
- Automate all E2E operational services (seeking ~60% of automations in all processes)
- Drive operations to have ‘at a click’ visibility of all steps in the process
- Create the strategic technology framework that will leverage all capabilities of our people and technology to drive E2E transformation in operations
- Define the path of proper technical investments that will support the elevation of the contribution of the operations team
- Be a trusted partner to the all our stakeholders inside and outside Strategy & Operations that will help connect the dots and impact the bigger picture of the training business revenue and service delivery
- Support Director on data analysis, operational improvements, service/process automation, executive level presentations such as MBRs and/or QBRs through dynamic dashboards
- Develop reporting skills and mindset within all Operations Team members
- Create basic automation programs for users to be self-sufficient with basic levels of automations
What we look for:
- 7+ years of Process Automation & Data Analytics proven experience & expertise (Preferred experience in: Salesforce, financial force, Docebo, Airtable, Tableau, among other applications)
- Ability and passion to lead global automation initiatives, optimize services, analyze data, create dashboards for proper visibility, set priorities, and solve complex problems dynamically
- Propensity to establish challenging goals when it comes to automating services and dashboard visualization for the E2E metrics of the Operational processes
- Data expert: Querying and scoping (SQL), analysis (Excel), summarizing (pivot tables, charts, slides, written explanation), reporting (dashboards)
- Rigor and attention to details to drive accurate data analysis, business understanding, on-time execution
- Passion for working highly collaboratively across stakeholders from different organizational levels
- A fondness for customer service, patience and humility in a very faced paced growth business
- Ability to adopt a holistic perspective that considers data, analytics, customer insights, and different parts of the business when making plans and shaping the Technology strategy.
