Our team “Development Solutions” is looking for an enthusiastic Battery Modeling Engineer (m/f/d) to work on the development of lithium-ion battery models for multiple customers in different industries. With your analytical and creative way of thinking you will develop innovative approaches and deliver high quality implementation work in an agile fast-paced environment. 

• You will develop and improve our electrical, thermal and aging battery models as part of the “Development Solutions” team 
• You will research and apply new approaches for lab data-based ageing models in combination with field data to complement and improve our existing tools and models 
• You will work closely with our lab engineers on improving existing testing approaches 
• You will drive customer exchange requests and deliveries 

• You have Bachelor’s or master's degree in electrical engineering, control engineering, simulation engineering, information technology or equivalent 
• You have 2+ years of battery modelling / simulation experience working in the automotive or energy industry  
• You have excellent skills in Matlab/Simulink mandatory + programming language e.g. Python  
• You have good understanding of lithium-ion batteries 
• You have experience in software development and versioning in e.g. Git 
• You have experience in developing products in an agile environment is a plus 
• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (German is a plus) 
• You have strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks at a time and drive them to successful completion  
• You are enthusiastic, proactive, positive-minded, customer focused, and service-oriented  
• You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
