Betsson France is now looking for a Technical Project Manager/DevOps to join the team. Betsson France is a start-up in the online sports betting industry aiming to become a major player in France with the support of Betsson Group.

About the role

As part of the creation of our online sports betting start-up, we are looking for a Technical Project Manager/DevOps to assist the CTO. The ideal candidate should possess significant experience in managing technical projects and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and technical third parties. Our technical stack primarily comprises of customized SaaS external products (web and native mobile apps), but there's also a need to implement internal tools for optimizing workflows and automations. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with the CTO to oversee various technical projects and partnerships, while also providing assistance to stakeholders. Additionally, develop validation tools and automations.
• Manage technical projects (backends, frontends) and external teams
• Supervise deployment and product lifecycles
• Automate and enhance internal business processes by creating and deploying tools
• Establish and oversee monitoring KPIs and measure technical performance in coordination with the CTO and stakeholders
• Master complex business-oriented tools and assist stakeholders
• Compile and maintain technical documentation for the organization
• Prepare for technical audits
• Participate in technology watch initiatives 

 

Key Requirements 

• Degree in Computer Science
• Proficient in English (French is a plus)
• Broad technical knowledge or willingness to learn a wide technical spectrum (development, security, scalability, network and IT infrastructure)
• DevOps experience (minimum 3 years) 
• Capable of defining and implementing technical KPIs
• Proficient in troubleshooting and performing QA 
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with a general-purpose programming language like Python, JavaScript, or Java
• Familiarity with containerization tools (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Effective communication skills with stakeholders at all organizational levels
• Collaborative team player who works towards common objectives
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
