You’ll be working as part of the Energy Solutions sales and commercial team where your key focus will be to assess and lead on procurement opportunities for energy efficiency retrofit, low carbon and renewable housing programmes that align to Energy Solutions strategy and our Plan Zero objectives. 

 

This role in a nutshell:

You’ll be responsible for all procurement portals across the Energy Solutions market sectors. Identifying opportunities on which to submit bids and feeding into the decision over whether to bid for the work.

 

Your key outcomes will be:

  • Devising a successful strategy and bid plan for winning a bid, including pinpointing the unique selling points (key differentiators) of Energy Solutions
  • During the bidding process you will lead and manage all aspects of the bid plan; working closely with other internal departments to complete a successful submission
  • Working with senior stakeholders to identify strategic growth opportunities aligned to company objectives
  • In support of the Business Development team, you will gain an understanding of our clients’ specific requirements, market drivers and outputs
  • Researching, writing and/or checking proposals
  • Developing, maintaining and adapting the Energy Solutions tender library for future opportunities, including lesson learnt and implementation of change management
  • Working with key members of the project team and the client organisation to obtain the information required to compile the bid 
  • Assessing and addressing the technical and commercial risks relating to an open procurement opportunity 
  • Researching current and future market trends
  • Responding to clients’ and other stakeholders’ queries before, during and after the bid has been submitted

We’ll pay you between £47,000 and £57,000, depending on your specific skills and experience. If your expectations are a little different, have a chat with us!
