Joining Collibra’s Bids & Proposals team
  • Make an impact at Collibra by creating proposals that drive sales opportunities forward.
  • As part of Collibra’s Bids & Proposals team, you will report to the Manager of the Bids & Proposals team and work cross-functionally with account executives and sales engineers, and subject matter experts as needed. 
  • In this role, you will use your project management and communication skills to help sales teams navigate formal procurement processes and build trust with internal teams.
  • The ideal candidate is organized, curious, detail-oriented, and confident.
Proposal Specialists at Collibra are responsible for
  • Managing response projects for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and due diligence questionnaires required for customer onboarding.
  • Using proposal automation software (Loopio) to create and manage assignments for the core response team.
  • Using Collibra’s content library to answer as many questions as possible across a range of topics and RFP sections.
  • Engaging subject matter experts to provide specialized information and periodically review library content.
  • Draft executive summaries and content that can be reused in future projects.
  • Other projects as required (e.g., updating library content with new product features, maintaining sample RFP that is sent to prospects upon request).
You have
  • 2+ years of experience responding to RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, and related projects.
  • Preferred experience is in the software industry, managing short to medium length responses with deadlines of 2-3 weeks, engaging 2-4 subject matter experts per project.
  • Demonstrated success in advancing proposals to the next sales stage and earning trust with both sales and subject matter experts.
  • Experience operating proposal automation software (e.g., Loopio, Responsive) and creating reusable content to be added to the library.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
  • Fluency in additional languages is desirable.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required
  • You must have work authorization to work in Prague, CZ.

  • Organized and experienced with managing multiple RFP response projects at once.
  • A concise, persuasive writer capable of developing professional and customized client-facing messaging.
  • A fast learner who understands nuance in discussions about the product, security, and privacy.
  • Confident when discussing projects with account executives and when working with subject matter experts on specialized questions.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to integrity in providing accurate responses that set Collibra up for productive sales conversations.
Measures of success
  • Within your first month, you will support projects by responding to assigned RFP sections with manager review.
  • Within your third month, you will manage a response project for a simple RFP with peer support from a senior team member.
  • Within your sixth month, you will independently manage a response project for a moderately complex RFP.
