Proposal Senior Analyst
Why We Have This Role
Qualtrics is looking for a full-time Proposal Senior Analyst who loves working with Sales in building value propositions. Our ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree (Technical Writing, Business Strategy, Marketing, or Social Sciences), 3-4 years of proposal or bid writing experience, and industry experience relevant to survey/market research. If you have high-level proposal management skills to author and edit technical and persuasive content, experience developing winning proposals or coordinating RFP responses, and experience with survey or market research, Qualtrics could be the place you've always dreamed of.

- Mastery of each Qualtrics product’s technical capabilities and strategic value proposition
- Can read between lines to draw deep, rich audience value messaging
- Deep knowledge of select competitive landscape
- Expert in adapting proposal management framework to produce extraordinary results, even against challenging deadlines
- Applies deadline discipline w/ min. tolerance; contingencies are rare
- Prioritizes time-to-value work on proposal with entire deal team
- Applies focused “call to action” w/ post-proposal next steps
- Can manage/recruit resources across the company for deal success
- Directly answers requirements with compliance focus
- Can translate technical content into the tone and flow of a proposal and substantially simplify/shorten complex technical jargon
- Can follow strict client guidelines around format and submission
- Understands and follows legal compliance processes
- Enforces a high standard for executive messaging on client current state, Qualtrics solution, and value proposition
- Can identify the correct ‘evidence that matters’ based on client needs and fill gaps working cross-departmentally for stronger evidence
- Ability to outline persuasive content/section by from scratch or via massive overhauls/transformations of content from multiple sources
- Can embed value proof points into requirement responses
- Knows existing/can create new methods to visualize/emphasize key messaging, differentiation, and proof points
- Can follow existing/create new layouts and designs in Word, InDesign, PPT, etc. to create strong visualizations and designs
- Able to create/design any type of visual document necessary for deal success, including collaborating with Creative for advanced requests
- Sets the tone for regional nuances and can train/communicate those differences to the Proposals Team
- Participates fully in Office Hours operation and provides thoughtful insights for further improvement
- Has a general understanding of regional nuances and can execute proposals accordingly
- Ownership a key regional/global team or department function
- Lead and/or run the proposal creation process for the responses Qualtrics develops in conjunction with RFPs and RFIs (requests for information) received
- Develop and maintain compelling, persuasive RFP content that demonstrates the value of our Experience Management and Research Services offerings
- Build compliant responses to RFPs/RFIs
- Work with the proposal team to support the sales team with client-facing, written and visual communications
- Build on prepared templates to create visually appealing proposals that communicate Qualtrics’ value and delight customers
- Review proposals to ensure a precise product ready for client review; proofread for content, grammar, style, formatting; edit, organize, and pull attachments and exhibits
- Consistently implement Qualtrics brand messaging, including tone, style, and theme, within all responses. Effectively demonstrate and promote the Qualtrics value proposition
- Liaise with Qualtrics’ subject matter experts to inform responses to RFPs and/or to support the maintenance of content organized in knowledge base, including its technical accuracy
- Partner directly with Sales teams to close process knowledge gaps, communicate the value of the Proposals team, and improve internal workflows
- Creation of microsites to visually and interactively communicate the value
- Mentorship and leadership to junior proposals members
- 3-4 years of experience in creating compliant proposals, business cases, or proactive proposals (whitepapers, microsites, proposal books, etc.)
- Strong written and spoken communication capabilities
- Strong and documented mentorship and leadership experience
- Expert Qualtrics technical knowledge
- Strong leadership, organizational, planning, communication, and time management skills; the ability to multi-task and work against strict deadlines is critical.
- Strict attention to detail – must be detail oriented.
- Ability to review and edit proposal content for clarity, grammar, and proper use of technical or customer terminology
- APMP certified or similar certifications
- Qualtrics Experience Program - $1,800 for an experience of your choosing (eligible after a year)
- 30 paid days off - 15 PTO + 5 Personal Days + 10 Holiday Closures
