We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Atlassian Admin Intern to join BT Atlassian Platform Engineering team. As an Atlassian Admin Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing and optimizing Atlassian tools, including Jira, Confluence, and more. This internship provides a unique opportunity to work closely with other teams, contributing to the efficiency and collaboration within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the configuration and maintenance of Atlassian tools, ensuring optimal performance and usability.
• Support the implementation of customization in Atlassian platform
• Provide support to end-users by troubleshooting issues and assisting with Atlassian tool-related inquiries.
• Implement solutions to integrate Atlassian tools with other systems and applications.
• Implement automated solutions to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
• Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into usage and performance metrics.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for Atlassian configurations and processes.
• Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of software development and IT processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

As an intern, you’ll do real work that matters. While you’re on board, you’ll work on meaningful projects and have an opportunity to see what working at Okta is all about. You’ll also have the support of your mentor and manager to help you develop new skills. 

Our interns have the opportunity to build a strong community - with their fellow interns, within their teams, and with the broader company. We want you to grow professionally and you’ll do that through participating in events like our Executive Speaker Series and Brown Bags.  And of course, we want you to have fun too.

Interns may choose the format of their internship: either in-person at one of our Okta offices, or virtually. We give our interns the opportunity to choose the option that best suits their needs.
