Flexdrive is looking for a high performing Business Analyst to join our Business Analytics team. As we scale our fleet management capabilities and expand operations, we are looking for a strong thought leader and executer who is passionate about driving data driven decisions and energized by solving complex problems. We need an experienced individual contributor who can step in, immediately assess current business operations, and begin driving improvements.  As the Business Analytics Manager, you will partner across Lyft’s Fleet business teams to lead strategic analysis and thinking, financial modeling and cost analysis. This role will report into the Growth Planning and Analytics Manager with opportunities to work directly with senior leadership on high visibility projects.

You are comfortable charting your own path and leading strategic conversations across multiple facets of the business. Responsibilities:
  • Take full ownership in solving complex problems with data and rally stakeholders to implement solutions
  • Work with business and leadership to define critical KPIs and metrics to support cross-functional teams, manage performance, create operational rigor and proactively seek ways to improve the business
  • Partnering with technical teams to build scalable data architecture to support reporting, visualization, dashboard and tools development
  • Develop insights through reports, dashboards and advanced analytics and build narratives and strategic recommendations to support key decision-making
  • Define the processes and streamline the operational cadence for the business analytics team 
  • Mentor analyst peers and continually coach cross functional colleagues to adopt a data driven mindset and learn new business concepts / tools
Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience with a mix of business analytics in a high growth or complex business, investment banking with strong analytical exposure and/or role at a top-tier consulting firm
  • Deep understanding of complex data models, BI methodologies, data architecture principles and metadata.
  • Proficient in SQL and working with raw data sets. (Python or other programming languages is a plus.)
  • Proven success as a highly analytical leader with a track record in driving influence within the business
  • Ability to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization and proactively thrive in ambiguous environments to create a vision that can scale quickly
  • Outstanding interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to work cross functionally & effectively with individual contributors, management, and executive leadership across the organization
  • Strong team leadership skills and the ability to motivate & mentor others
  • Operationally-focused, process-oriented, data-driven, and simply able to get stuff done
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to package findings & technical concepts for executive leadership consumption
  • Previous experience in product experimentation and/or P&L involvement is a plus

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.

The expected base pay range for this position in the New York area is $139,500 - $155,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
