As part of the Jump India Team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues of diverse backgrounds, all focused on creating innovative solutions that position the firm for the future.

As part of the Global Business Development Team you’ll help to drive the growth of Jump Trading’s India business. This is an entrepreneurial position for an individual with aptitude and a strong interest in trading, technology, business development and operations.

What You’ll Do:

Exchange Connectivity:

• Contribute to relationship management with the exchanges, brokers and vendors
• Analyze and project manage exchange and regulatory driven changes and go-to-market for new products

Business Intelligence:

• Keep Jump on top of the changes in the trading/trading technology ecosystem
• Explore and research new business opportunities that strengthen Jump Trading’s India business
• Identify & analyze market trends, determine impact/opportunity to Jump Trading
• Provide support to senior leadership with respect to strategic and financial growth of Jump Trading’s India business

Internal (Trader/Tech Team) Awareness:

• Understand what aspects of Jump’s technology stack are critical to Jump’s success in the India market
• Build relationships with traders and quantitative researchers to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the products landscape
• Dissemination of intelligence gathered around all aspects related to high frequency trading in India

Travel:

• Cultivate relationships with exchanges, brokers, banks, industry experts and technology partners
• Attend conferences, meetings, and other industry events to build business intelligence on behalf of the firm
• Travel as it relates to growth opportunities in India and developing relationships within the firm

Skills You’ll Need:

• 3+ years of experience in Indian markets
• Direct experience within an Exchange and/or quantitative trading firm
• Understanding of trading/exchange technology, compliance/regulatory changes, and their business impact
• Ability to negotiate economic terms with exchanges and brokers
• Exceptional abilities and experience presenting ideas, market changes, market trends, etc. to assist senior leadership in decision making and overall prioritization
• Must possess intellectual curiosity and be a self-starter
• A demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and to lead them independently to their conclusion

Bonus:

• Knowledge of python/R, and proficiency with data analytics tools such as Microstrategy/Tableau
