The Business Development Manager (EMEA) is responsible for achieving targeted EMEA budgets; to contribute to the achievement of the company's overall target budget and to achieve all personal targeted OKR's.

About the opportunity:

  • Manage EMEA regional new logo sales to meet agreed targets in line with the company's strategic sales plan
  • Ensure all sales are executed in line with the Seeing Machines sales processes and systems.
  • Take responsibility for direct product sales and where necessary, provide sales support to the indirect sales channel
  • Utilise and maintain accurate pipeline and sales activities via Hubspot CRM
  • Represent Seeing Machines at trade shows and exhibitions at various required occasions
  • Effectively demonstrate Seeing Machines products to potential customers
  • Maintain an awareness of industry market trends, product features and competitor's
  • offerings/analysis
  • Provide feedback to product development team based on customer requirements
  • Identification and evaluation of potential market growth areas
  • Build, foster and maintain effective relationships with key customers, key industry
  • partners, alliances and distribution channels
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with all Seeing Machines sales team
  • members, Aftermarket colleagues and key business unit leaders
  • Comply with all SM policies and procedures, and particularly those relating to work health and safety and equal opportunity.
  • Perform other duties as requested, consistent with the level of the position and in line with the principle of multi-skilling

Please note: due to the size of the region & client base there will be some travel required (domestic and international) and this role may require the incumbent to be available after hours on occasion.

About you:

  • Undergraduate qualifications in marketing, sales, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience selling relevant products/solutions (e.g., telematics).
  • Experience working within the EMEA region with its different cultures.
  • Desirable: Fluency in French, German, Turkish, or Spanish
  • Experience in industries like Automotive OEM, Supply Chain & Logistics, or Rail.
  • Experience working within the Fleet Management, Telematics, Fleet safety technology industries
  • Proven track record in meeting sales targets through major accounts.
  • Experience with complex sales and long lead times.
  • B2B sales experience with senior buyers (OPS Director/CFO/COO).
  • Experience managing tiered sales structures with varying sales cycles.
  • Familiarity with target market, key players, and purchasing behaviors.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills with senior customers.
