What you'll do:

  • Support the growth of Jump Trading’s European Rates Business.
  • Research and present business opportunities to internal stakeholders.
  • Input into the design and implementation of multi-faceted business strategy.
  • Partner with Quantitative Research Teams to leverage Jump Trading’s world class strategy generation capabilities for European Rates trading.
  • Establish yourself as a key partner in European Rates for research, business, operations, technology and leadership teams.
  • Build and manage internal and external relationships to deliver complex projects and support the pursuit of significant revenue growth.
  • Further enhance important relationships with counterparties, dealers and infrastructure providers.
  • Help position Jump Trading at the cutting edge of market structure and technology innovation.
  • Represent Jump Trading at external events, conferences, meetings as required to build business.
  • Explore and manage European Rates-related joint ventures and strategic partnerships.
  • Other duties as assigned or needed.

Skills you’ll need:

  • Commercially minded, entrepreneurial, proven business developer.
  • Relevant experience in Global Rates markets, operations and trading.
  • Knowledge of Rates market structure in Europe, from primary issuance to secondary market trading.
  • Cross asset class experience including European Government Bonds, interest rates swaps, futures and options.
  • Working knowledge of relevant exchanges, platforms and trading protocols.
  • Experience within a relevant Investment Bank and/or quantitative trading firm.
  • Working knowledge of European Rates trading approaches.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects in parallel through to successful completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; an ability to communicate both technical and business content effectively.
  • A degree in a relevant subject with high academic achievements.
  • Reliable and predictable availability.
