What can you expect in this role: 

As the sales leader of the Melbourne office, you will be accountable for delivering revenue targets within the Victoria region. This hands-on role reports to the Head of Sales, ANZ and is also responsible for identifying and securing new revenue opportunities while working with key internal stakeholders to deliver and support long-term regional success. You are a master relationship builder, creative problem solver and a sales leader, managing a junior. You are well-versed in the agency landscape in your territory, with key relationships already established and ready to make an impact at Teads.

The ideal candidate has extensive industry experience knowledge and market, enjoys working independently and takes ownership on managing annual revenue targets.

  • Identify, pitch, and close sales deals with media agencies and brands
  • Develop strong, mutually beneficial relationships with clients
  • Collaborate and work closely with other departments (sales, ad ops, publisher and design teams) to ensure client campaign expectations are communicated internally
  • Represent Teads and be a brand ambassador in the online advertising marketplace
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction to generate renewals and increase incremental revenue 
  • Responsible in hitting own monthly and quarterly revenue targets

About You

  • Minimum 8 years sales experience of prospecting to media agencies and delivering success
  • Strong understanding of the digital landscape and programmatic is a must
  • Strong networking ability and proven connections with major advertising agencies
  • Good technical knowledge and understanding of ad-serving and tracking technologies
  • Proven track record of winning large accounts
  • A team player with the ability to learn quickly and a self-motivated starter.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to resolve queries efficiently, to multitask, and communicate across teams
  • Entrepreneur and solution driven mentality
