Job Description:

We are seeking a Chief of Staff to Carsten Thoma, the President at Celonis. As Chief of Staff, you will be a critical partner to the President, and supporting key customer relationships and strategic initiatives based on his agenda. This role allows you to work closely with the senior leadership team and make a significant impact on the organization's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and Control Executive Sponsorships and Key Customer Relations:
    • Collaborate with Carsten & account teams to manage and nurture executive-level customer relationships, including correspondence.
    • Oversee the development and execution of strategic customer engagement plans and meeting briefing documents.
    • Support executive sponsorships for key accounts and ensure their successful execution.

     

  • Inbox Management & Calendar Control:
    • Proactively manage Carsten’s email inbox, screening and prioritizing messages or summarizing requests in collaboration with Carsten’s EA.
    • Work closely with Carsten’s EA to optimize Carsten’s calendar, ensuring efficient use of time, balancing internal and external commitments.
    • Anticipating scheduling conflicts and providing solutions to ensure optimal efficiency and priority.

     

  • Facilitate Team Communications & Collaboration:
    • Act as a key liaison and buffer between Carten's office and other departments and work closely with the internal communications leader.
    • Facilitate clear and effective communication among different teams.
    • Coordinate the dissemination of strategic updates, initiatives, and priorities to all relevant stakeholders.
    • Organize meetings or workshops to drive forward strategic priorities, coordinating the right participants.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field. MBA preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in executive-level roles, with a track record of successfully supporting senior executives.
    • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, including empathy and tact.
    • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
    • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools.
    • Strategic mindset with the ability to drive change and process improvements.
    • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
    • Ability and motivation to quickly understand and assess various requirements and solve unique problems across business domains

    • Strong entrepreneurial traits and passion for execution
    The base salary range below is for the role in the specified location, based on a Full Time Schedule. Total compensation package will include base salary + bonus/commission + equity + benefits (health, dental, life, 401k, and paid time off). Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and that the actual total compensation offer will be determined based on various factors, including, but not limited to, applicant's qualifications, skills, experiences, and location.The base salary range below is for the role in New York, based on a Full Time Schedule. $95,000—$165,000 USD
