We’re looking for a Chief of Staff to the CMO, to support the planning and execution of the Marketing organization’s strategy and key initiatives. In this role you will act as a trusted advisor and partner to the CMO and marketing leadership team, fostering collaboration and alignment, driving operational excellence, and ensuring marketing leadership are well-equipped to execute effectively and efficiently.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Work closely with the CMO and VP of Marketing Strategy to develop, plan and execute the marketing organization’s vision, goals, strategies, and key initiatives.
  • Provide strategic internal and external insights, data and analysis, and recommendations. 
  • Work with the Marketing Programs and Operations Manager to ensure key projects and initiatives align to marketing’s strategic goals and are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor and partner to the CMO and the Marketing Leadership team, providing strategic insights, data and analysis, and recommendations.
  • Work with the CMO to establish a regular operating rhythm for the Marketing Leadership team and broader Marketing organization.
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships cross-functionally and with key stakeholders in other departments. 
  • Drive the communication and flow of information across the marketing organization.
  • Partner with internal and external communications teams as required to ensure consistency, transparency and the right stakeholders are informed at the right time.
  • Work in partnership with business stakeholders and leaders to enable a data-driven approach to setting priorities and monitoring effectiveness in executing them.
  • Drive accountability for KPIs and OKRs and ensure key decisions have a clear owner and plan of execution. 
  • Act as a point of escalation for marketing leaders to flag issues, risks or concerns to the CMO.
  • Manage communication to ensure the CMO is prepared and informed. 
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships cross-functionally and with key stakeholders in other departments
  • Stay informed on relevant industry trends and developments and provide the CMO with timely information as required. 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Advanced level of strategic business operations and/or strategic project/program management experience.
  • Proven experience partnering and supporting senior and executive leaders. 
  • Excellent stakeholder and project management skills, with demonstrated experience helping design and execute strategic initiatives to deliver measurable business results.

Canada Pay Range For This Role$172,300—$241,300 CAD
