ROLE

We are looking for Community Manager for Germany to work with some of Europe’s most exciting eco-friendly cleaning and body care product brands. These are brands that focus on sustainability, and thanks to their reputation, they are a market leader in the green lifestyle products space.

We are looking for a developing social all-rounder who is full of talent and ambition, and who can match our clients’ passion for industry-leading marketing.  This role will be sitting within the in-house social and content team we’ve created, working with a range of global-level client teams. 

This is a part-time role.

THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF...

  • You are someone who has already started working in social media and is looking for their next step up. 
  • Your are interested in sustainability and care about our environment.
  • Your written and spoken German is flawless (native speaker level).
  • You are someone who likes to work in close collaboration with brands.

We also welcome applications from "career changers" (journalists, copywriters, PR & comms officers, customer service specialists,...)!

We are looking for someone who:  

  • Keeps abreast of pop culture, loves a meme, and keeps on top of internet trends.
  • Follows influencers across a range of passion points and platforms.
  • Has experience with social listening and social management tools.
  • Has a good understanding of people’s behaviour on social media across different platforms.
  • Is analytical with a ‘measure and optimise’ approach to content creation.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Managing all inbound comments with appropriate responses and escalations. 
  • Managing community to foster relationships and advocacy within social audiences. 
  • Helping to develop copy to support our visual content.
  • Participating in creative brainstorms alongside the Creative Studio team.
  • Staying up to date with updates and changes across the social platforms and communicating these to team members.
  • Begin developing a knowledge of industry benchmarks for reach, engagement, sentiment etc.
  • Conduct regular social listening to look for opportunities to respond to and lead conversations.
  • Working directly with clients to help the team deliver reporting, share ideas, take feedback and discuss updates.
