About The Team

Providing competitive intelligence to our go-to-market teams is an important part of the Product Marketing mission.You will be part of the Technical Product Marketing team with highly skilled technical experts who can support your competitive research.

About The Internship

As a Competitive Intelligence Product Marketing Intern, you will play a crucial role in our strategic planning process by conducting in-depth research and analysis of our competitors and the market. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing data to provide actionable insights that will inform our go-to-market teams..

The ideal candidate has an analytical mindset, a get-it-done attitude and is not afraid of challenging the status quo. In everything you do you promote legal and ethical standards.

What You’ll Get To Do In This Role

  • Conduct comprehensive competitive research and analysis across various sources, including primary/secondary research, industry reports, market studies, and digital media.
  • Utilize data exploration techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and insights within complex datasets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and objectives, ensuring relevant and impactful competitive intelligence.
  • Present findings and insights to stakeholders through clear, concise reports and presentations, highlighting key implications for our business strategy.
  • Monitor industry trends and provide timely updates on significant developments affecting our market position.
  • Translate complex technical information into simple and concise language. Distril insights into enablement content such as battle cards and technical deep dives.
  • Partner with our Product Management and Special Projects team to improve strategies, products and services.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Tableau, Salesforce CRM, Excel).
  • Good at visualizing complex research findings and driving attention to key insights while keeping an eye on sales engagement and adoption
  • Previous experience in product marketing/product management/competitive intelligence is a plus
  • Excellent written and presentation skills. This role demands someone who is gifted in their ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including executives, product management, sales, and marketing
  • Self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative cloud services company
