What you’ll do

 

As Doctolib evolves fast, our Head of Working Capital Operations is looking for an accounts receivable accountant.  

You will integrate a team with a large scope including Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable perimeters. You will mainly focus and become referent on the AR activities (daily & closing period execution and controls etc). This organization will encourage the extension of your competencies on other activities related to  working capital management (AP / AR / Cash application) and fixed assets.

We are therefore giving the opportunity to our accountants to grow within our own team.

 

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

Daily tasks

  • Manage timely and accurately all billing activities (invoices, credit memo, adjustments) and payment processes
  • Quality review activities
    • Invoice review and approval
    • Travel and expenses approval
  • Collaborate and support local sales teams on customer inquiries (including ticketing process)
  • Cash allocation support  - Maintain precise records of all incoming payments and ensure all payments are properly applied and reconciled.

 

Closing activities and Internal controls : 

  • Closing activities :  revenue recognition, accrual and deferred revenue analysis, Aging balance and creditor analysis, unallocated cash alignment etc
  • Ensure accuracy in accounting
  • Assisting with audits and checking for discrepancies in financial accounts
  • Compiling financial / revenue reports for FP&A 
  • Execute and document internal controls
  • Sales performance preparation and validation

 

Efficiency optimization:

  • Contribute to continuous improvement on internal control - Support in implement robust accounting controls and documentation globally
  • Work collaboratively with other accounting members (sales admin, collection, GL, FP&A teams) to ensure accuracy in accounts
  • Identify and raise process pain points and improvements
    • Identify and raise process pain points and improvements
    • Make recommendations to improve AR and AP quality processes.

You could be our next team mate if you:

 

  • Have a Bac +2/3 in finance and accounting or Master Degree in accounting,
  • Have 4 to 6 years of experience in accounting with experience in analyzing discrepancies, and accounting controls
  • Are used to working in an international environment and able to think global / act local;
  • Language skills : Professional English. Native speaker in French and/or German is a plus;
  • Skills in SAP 4 Hana and/or Zuora (billing tool) is a plus
  • Have excellent communication skills,
