Role: Creative Director - beauty & wellbeing focussed

Location:Hybrid / onsite in London, England x2-3 days per week

 

ROLE MISSION

Working in close collaboration with our client as a key member of the in-house team, the Creative Director will develop a complete understanding of our client's consumers, brand, business, and agency network. 

You will also be the client’s creative partner to – proactively where possible - advise on brand building comms and campaigns and deliver creative work, across a broad spectrum of media, with excellence. 

You will be responsible for all client creative work on your brands, and work with the Managing Partner, Strategy Lead and ECD/CCO to partner with Senior Clients.

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

You will report to the Global CCO / ECD and work closely with the client's Creation and Design personnel,  Strategy, Content & Community Management, Production, as well as offshore design and project management teams You will also work with colleagues in our broader Group Brand-Tech network to shape a solution within the agency that forges innovative bespoke solutions for our clients. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Creative Quality: Quality of work, the impact of work in-market, reputation for creative and excellence, and world-class ideas and innovation. Outstanding execution across high-impact media channels globally across all divisions 
  • Brand leadership: Leading the Simple creative team to deliver content and ideas across multiple channels.  
  • Production know-how: Experience in bringing many different types of work to life working with production partners to deliver best in class. 
  • Client Engagement: The creative partner to our Simple client team. 
  • Team Leadership: Marshalling resources across the studio and network to aid in delivery. Providing mentorship and line management to a team of designers and art directors,  
  • Trusted Beauty / Personal Care Brand Advisor: Able to show strong knowledge of the beauty / personal care categories and guide clients to best in class solutions. 

 

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • Relevant senior experience working in a creative agency, responsible for delivering day to day for a key account or multiple accounts and beauty experience a must. 
  • You must have experience leading a creative team to success.  
  • Strong understanding of the Digital Advertising ecosystem; social media, digital display, CRM, and website. 
  • Strong ATL production experience. 
  • Experience working on as part of an inter-agency team that delivers integrated campaigns that span ATL, Digital, and Social channels. 
  • As a Brand Guardian, you will need an eye for design, catching creative when it could be improved and aligned to the brand's objectives/ purpose 
  • Your passion ensures every project surpasses the client's expectations, and you have countless case studies demonstrating creative excellence. 
  • Experience working for large FMCG clients. 
  • Experience across multiple markets a plus.
