This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.

THE ROLE

As a Systems Engineer, Enterprise – France, you will be a senior technical advisor shaping strategic outcomes for some of France’s most complex and influential organizations, including CAC-40 enterprises, major public sector institutions, and large service providers. This role sits at the intersection of technology, strategy, and customer trust—partnering closely with Account Executives, customers, and ecosystem partners to drive transformational outcomes using Pure Storage’s Enterprise Data Cloud (EDC) platform. You will influence IT strategy at executive level while leading technically rigorous engagements that translate vision into measurable business impact.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Lead complex enterprise engagements by uncovering customer business drivers, IT strategy, and transformation goals, translating them into scalable, future-ready architectures aligned to Pure’s Enterprise Data Cloud vision.
  • Drive technical wins across the full sales lifecycle, owning discovery, solution design, evaluations (PoCs, benchmarks, bake-offs), and technical closure for large enterprise and public sector opportunities.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to both senior executives and technical stakeholders, delivering compelling presentations, demos, and architecture discussions that connect technology decisions to business value.
  • Partner tightly with Account Executives and ecosystem partners to develop differentiated strategies for strategic pursuits, including CAC-40 and regulated public sector environments.
  • Own technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, and public tenders, ensuring solutions are technically sound, clearly articulated, and aligned to customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Elevate technical excellence within the SE team by mentoring peers, sharing best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement of enterprise engagement standards.
  • Represent Pure Storage externally at industry events, executive briefings, and customer forums as a thought leader on enterprise infrastructure, cloud-native architectures, and data-centric IT strategy.
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Enterprise pre-sales leadership experience supporting large, complex organizations, with the ability to manage multi-stakeholder technical engagements and long sales cycles.
  • Strong enterprise IT and infrastructure expertise, spanning compute, networking, storage, security, and virtualization in mission-critical environments.
  • Deep knowledge of modern data platforms and storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, object storage, NVMe-oF, and data services at enterprise scale.
  • Cloud and cloud-native fluency, including containers, Kubernetes, automation, and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and how they integrate with hybrid architectures.
  • Strategic storytelling capability, able to articulate platform-level visions such as Enterprise Data Cloud and connect architectural decisions to agility, simplicity, and long-term business outcomes.
  • Customer-first mindset, demonstrated through credibility, collaboration, and the ability to earn trust at both technical and executive levels.
  • Professional fluency in French and English, with confidence communicating complex concepts clearly in both languages.
  • Location requirement: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the France office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
