  • Own monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close processes for the Latin America region (LATAM) for 4 legal entities
  • Review journal entries, general ledger accounts and account reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP
  • Work closely with tax professionals on transfer pricing, tax returns and other tax compliance items
  • Work closely with entity contacts on local bookkeeping requirements/local GAAP
  • Work closely with internal and external auditors
  • Assist in the formulation of internal controls and policies to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and best practices
  • Automate accounting processes as well as other business processes
  • Assist with other accounting duties and ad-hoc requests
  • Mentor and coach other team members
  What We're Looking For On Your Resume
  • Master’s degree in Accounting and a minimum of 7+ years of accounting experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a minimum of 9+ years of accounting experience
  • CPA certification required
  • Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to remain flexible in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Able to work within a team environment effectively, as well as function independently
  • Great oral and written communication skills to interact with upper levels of management
